Practical, relevant and relational describe Elliott's teaching, preaching and style of ministry. With over 25 years of ministry experience, Elliott has a great passion to inspire people to surrender their lives to Jesus Christ and equip them to impact their world through ministry.
Elliott is a native of Memphis, Tennessee and grew up on the north side of metro Atlanta in Duluth, Georgia. Elliott graduated from Toccoa Falls College (Bachelor of Science in Youth Ministry) and Mid America Baptist Theological Seminary (Master of Arts in Religion and Education). In 1999, Elliott was ordained to the ministry at Bellevue Baptist Church in Memphis under Dr. Adrian Rogers.
After 16 years of ministering to Middle School and High School students followed by 11 years in College Ministry, Elliott arrived in Bartlett in December of 2018 to become the Senior Pastor at Bartlett Hills. He and his family are excited about the future of Bartlett Hills and to be back in the Memphis area.
Elliott is a big fan of Memphis basketball and football, the Atlanta Braves, vintage cars, a great cup of coffee, Seaside, Florida, listening to music from his childhood, visiting family and having fun with his wife Denise, son Barrett, Chipper, "The Wonder Dog".
