MDO and Preschool Families,

As of April 15, 2020, Governor Lee announced his recommendation that Tennessee schools be closed through the end of this school year. As a result of Governor Lee’s guidance, Bartlett Hills Baptist Church Mother’s Day Out and Preschool will remain closed through the end of our scheduled school year.

Regarding payments and tuition:

Those paying Monthly:

No more tuition is due for this school year.

Paid in full:

If you have paid in full for the year, the amount for April and May will be credited towards the next school year to your students or student’s sibling. However, if your child will not be returning for the 2020 – 2021 school year, a reimbursement check will be cut in the appropriate amount. The process of cutting these checks should begin by Tuesday, April 21st and mailed to the parents’ home address that was listed on registration.

End of the school year information:

Unfortunately, our annual Open House has been cancelled—originally scheduled for April 27th.

The Pre-K 4 graduation, planned for May 12th, will have to be cancelled as well.

Our teachers are doing their best and working from home to finish students’ scrapbooks—without access to supplies and materials. I have, however, encouraged them to finalize the books even though they may not be what was envisioned or “ideal.” I appreciate your understanding and patience in this respect. Your teachers will have scrapbooks and crafts bundled for each student at the end of the stay-at-home order. These will be available at the church when all is back to normal. The date to pick up these items is TBA.

I pray that you are all staying well. It saddens my heart that we could not have an official goodbye. Please tell your babies that we all love and miss them deeply.

Humbly yours,

Erica Daniel

MDO Director

A note from the photographer on Spring pictures:

I've posted the Spring MDO portraits on a gallery online.

We are only offering the digital image file right now due to the fact that our photo lab is shut down due the mandatory shutdown from Coronavirus.  We have discounted the package by $5 since there are not prints included.  There are a few children that have several poses because I couldn't decide which one to choose.  If a parent wants more than one, please have them email me and I will give them to option to purchase the additional images at $20 each additional.  I will have to charge them separate from the website since the website only has one price.  Having the digital file will give the parents the copyright to print what they please and use their printer at home or any photo lab of their choice.

Please go ahead and share this gallery with your parents.  If they have any questions, they can email Laney and
